My Cheap Jobs – Scam or Legit?

My Cheap Jobs – An Alternative to Fiverr?

The success of the micro jobs site Fiverr has made making money online from cheap work home jobs a reality. While Fiverr is a terrific opportunity to make money working from home, the problem with Fiverr is that it is a victim of its own popularity.

There are hundreds of thousands of sellers on Fiverr and millions of Gigs – there is no way someone who is not established already can make money starting on Fiverr right now. Yes, you will make money eventually on Fiverr, but it would take you a lot of time, and plenty of days when you barely get any orders whatsoever.

My Cheap Jobs or mycheapworks are new alternatives to Fiverr. The working of both My Cheap Jobs and mycheapworks is same as Fiverr, and they are practically clones of the more popular service. However, if you are looking to make money from home on My Cheap Jobs, there is a much better chance that you will succeed here than on Fiverr, if you are starting out just now. This is because you will face a lot less competition for your cheap work home jobs on My Cheap Jobs or mycheapworks that you would on Fiverr.

So, who are My Cheap Jobs?

My Cheap Jobs is a website that connects a buyer to a seller. The buyer will be looking to hire someone for things such as getting a facelift on his Facebook page, getting 10,000 Twitter followers, getting 300 Facebook likes or getting an article or blog post written for rock bottom prices starting at $5 per job or gig. The seller will be the one who provides the services that the buyer is looking for.

Is My Cheap Jobs – Scam or Legit?

In my opinion My Cheap Jobs is very much a legitimate service where the sellers get their money right on time and buyers get their job done and completed to their satisfaction. We have no reason to believe that My Cheap Jobs is anything less than a decent service. The only issue is that since the website is still new, it gets nothing close to the web traffic received by Fiverr.

So, while you can indeed make money on My Cheap Jobs, the potential for making money on other micro jobs sites such as Fiverr is a lot more, provided you are well established there. But there are no issues with payments on My Cheap Jobs – the payments are made regularly by PayPal and are made after the successful completion of a job.

But it is very important for a seller to get a good feedback and job rating from a buyer by doing his job well. The poor sellers, or those who fail to do a good job on orders are weeded out by the job rating and feedback system. The good sellers do well on the strength of great feedback and job rating received from satisfied buyers.

So, if you’re a buyer, you should always look for sellers who have a great job rating and have received excellent feedback from other satisfied buyers. This way, you’ll never be disappointed.

For sellers, here’s how the payment system works on My Cheap Jobs.

  • For a $20.00 sale, $16.00 will be credited to your PayPal account.
For a $15.00 sale $12.00 will be credited to your PayPal account.
For a $10.00 sale $8.00 will be credited to your PayPal account.
For a 5.00 sale $4.00 will be credited to your PayPal account.

Interesting post Davin – I always wonder how places like Fivver thrive… great to know there are alternative and that you make money by using them, thank you 🙂

  2. My Cheap Jobs is 100% scam. he suspended my account without excuse & stolen my money. be careful guys

  3. I’ve used both Fiverr and Mycheapjobs and I noticed they are both very similar like you stated but Fiverr seems to be more reliable to me. I tested out some jobs in MCJ and paid someone to get some traffic to one of my websites and found that they used some kind of bot to get me traffic because it kept saying “unknown source” as the source of the traffic. When I used Fiverr for the same thing it actually showed the many different sources. I also got ripped off once on MCJ by a seller and the admin ignored my requests to resolve the issue. Another thing too. MCJ has a lot of people who aren’t from America. I found this after communicating with some sellers. Their punctuation and language of speaking was so bad and hard to understand at times as if it was in another language and then translated poorly.
